Davis will be trying to get his ass somewhere it'll be harder to put more holes in him and shooting anything coming towards him that looks hostile with a three-round burst, or the guy trying to pound Jonno's head into the inlaid marble floor.
Jade Imperium - OOC 9
Sensors or brains are somewhere, and its time to have bullets find them.
1 Caretaker down - he ran way out of Shock. The Avatar has definitely taken what passes for Wounds. Jonno is gone.
Arketta took her turn; I just rolled it into the end of the last post. She's aiming so as to either not hit friends in melee or, if she's clear, to make a called shot.
Angel 4 (1 WD left, you spent them well though)
Luis, Ngawai 3
Avatar, Caretakers, Swims 2
Davis 1

What're the Buskit rules regarding reloading? If I want to slap in a new magazine and blaze away at this guy, am I penalized? I'm doing it either way, but I'd like to know for future reference.
Also, how does the guns in melee thing work with Luis' SMG specielty? Does it add another d8 (Fight stat) or a d10 (Shoot stat)?
Oh, and toss in auto-fire, half a magazine. I do not feel like wrestling a Wookie, I like my arms attatched to my torso.

Reloading takes an action, so yes, you can take multiple actions to reload and still fire at a penalty, same as if you made 2 attacks.
Guns in melee: You use your Fight stat, but your SMG specialization would still apply (doubling your Fight stat). Your attacker defends with Fight, rather than the range die, because they can parry the gun barrel or grab your arm.
In Luis' case, he still gets his Delta Aspect, so you're in good shape.

Think d4 - FTW!
Time for some thrilling heroics.
Or, more accurately, since I can't backpedal into a spear, its time to charge.
All in, guns blazing at the Avatar.

Angel's at 2/6 Wounds, 6/14 Shock. The Avatar made a called shot in order to place you in a full hold: you must free yourself (using a Fight or Might action - I recommend Fight in your case) before you can do (mostly) anything else (clever/awesome plans are not always subject to this rule, however). The Avatar gains a d8 cover bonus vs. ranged attacks from using Angel as a human shield as well.
EDIT: Oh wait, nevermind. Ngawai used a called shot to dictate concessions, and she did manage to pull off a Wound to the thing. Angel is free (although still majorly fucked up).
Swims is at 8/10 Wounds, 14/20 Shock.
Another Caretaker down.
Initiative!
Ngawai, Avatar 8 (Their actions have already been posted)
Davis 4
Swims 3
Arketta, Angel, Caretakers 2
Luis 1
FURTHER EDIT: To clarify positioning without scribbling out another map; Avatar, Angel, Swims, Luis, and the wounded Caretaker are all considered to be in melee. It's just a big old fight. Davis, and Ngawai are on the left front side of the auditorium behind cover. The fresh Caretaker is on the left rear side behind cover. Arketta is on the right front side, also, you guessed, it, behind cover.

This guy needs to go down so we can focus our fire on the Avatar and last Caretaker and aren't surrounded. Davis is ripping off the rest of the clip at him to take him down now.
I don't recall exactly what happened with Greene, so I attempted to fake it in my post.
Any info from Semo's helmet IFF, or is that dead at this point? Anything on the allied comm frequency?

(oh, just to clarify, Greene has the normal amount of arms and legs. They're just all replacements)
Regarding the IFF, that's something you'd probably notice right about now, actually. The Turai haven't been activating their IFF, or they're on a different frequency, or something like that. Most probably the former at this point.
And sorry to hit you both with the GM Fiat Stick - it was too good an opportunity to pass up, both having a showdown with Greene as well as throwing Semo into a situation that we actually had a training montage for.

I really didn't want to have to wrestle a Wookie....
I think I'm trying to shoot him again. I don't have any melee weapon worth the name other than the UMp itself, and using a working and loaded gun as a club is just...dang stupid, especially seeing as how he's about two feet taller than me.

I'm cool with it.

Is there a way Max can overclock his environmental controls? Either way, I guess he'll be taking a brief rest from Die Harding.
So Angel *isn't* currently gripped by the Avatar?

Angel is free from the Avatar, although you're still in melee range.
Ummm...while Max is at work figuring out Earth's Gateship, did we ever figure out where "our" Gateship was headed? I believe the idea of checking so we could slow it down and use its space Gate as a "safe harbor" for fleet building was tossed around a bit, but surely our techs would have checked its final destination to see if it was anything useful first.
Getting the hell away, and shooting if the rifle is handy.
